About the Event
In December 2022, UN Secretary-General António Guterres announced that he will convene a Climate Ambition Summit in September 2023. He urged leaders from governments, business, cities and regions, civil society, and finance to come with new, tangible, and credible climate action to accelerate the pace of change. The Summit will convene alongside the second SDG Summit, which aims to accelerate action at the mid-way point of the SDGs.
