Resource Mobilisation Consultant

Location: Fully Remote
Contract Period: Open, from date of signing until terminated by either party.

The Resource Mobilization Consultant at PICAN is a remote, commission-based role focused on identifying funding opportunities, developing high-quality proposals, and securing financial support for the organization’s climate action initiatives in the Pacific Islands. Reporting to the Regional Director, the consultant will conduct prospect research, collaborate with staff to assess needs, and create compelling funding proposals.

Key responsibilities include donor engagement, proposal development, and quarterly reporting, with an emphasis on aligning funding efforts with PICAN’s mission and ethical guidelines. Compensation is tied to a tiered commission structure, supplemented by a capped discretionary budget for approved expenses.
